“It’s not a job. It’s a part of my heart.”

Patricia Turner, BSN, RNC-OB

Pregnancy and Birth Coach

Hi! I’m Patricia, a high-risk obstetrics/labor and delivery nurse with over 30 years of experience in the field.

I find delight in being a nurse, mother (and grandmother, too!). In fact, my own difficult experiences in childbirth led me to become an obstetrical nurse. I almost died during my first labor and delivery. I didn’t know what to expect, what was going on, or what to ask. I was fearful and anxious with no one to turn to.

That’s when I decided to ditch my corporate job and become a labor and delivery nurse. I never wanted another woman to feel anxious or fearful again.

As a mother and a nurse, I bridge the gap between overwhelming medical information and compassionate care for pregnant women. This results in less anxiety about your pregnancy and delivery, and more confidence in taking part in your healthcare decisions.

My Work of Heart:

A Glimpse of My Daily Life

Pregnancy can be overwhelming

especially if don’t understand what’s happening or you’re not sure what to expect or look out for. You need support that goes beyond physical care. I break down complex medical information in a way that expectant moms can understand while providing the empathetic and emotionally invested support they need.

I made a career out of what I feel most passionate about:

serving and impacting as many women as I can through prenatal education and support. I’ve either lived through or handled all the things you might worry about. I am here to guide you.

It is an honor, privilege, and a pleasure to be living my dharma and impacting the lives of so many women.
